dissembled
to be
cleaned, oiled and mechanically adjusted.
Unless otherwise stated all of o
ur machines are meticulously tested and fully functional when shipped. All parts are original unless otherwise stated. Some damaged original parts may be replaced by parts from identical typewriters or new reproduction parts, if needed.
Mechanical and Cosmetic Disposition:
For your reassurance we always describe our machines meticulously, no matter how small the details.
This
beautiful
Quite Deluxe does have a few minor paint flaws that are very hard to see on the painted surface.
The Platen Roll has been machined and now has a new clean smooth surface. The feed rolls under the Platen have been replaced and are brand new. There is some minor wear on those nice green keys. The paper bail scale has lost some of its paint but the
characters
are
embossed
into the bar. We also installed a new Black and Red ribbon on the machine.
As the final touch I also installed that awesome hand made Cedar Spacer Bar.
Note:
I will never say that this machine or any machine this old is completely original as it has most likely been worked on in the past, some parts may have been replaced in order for it to function as designed.

his nice collectible has a
keyboard
classified as a "Pica", typing at 10 characters per inch.
Note:
Please, never pick up typewriters by the carriage, always pick them up by the main frame.

heavy and fragile machine and will require extra protection for shipment. Our packing system works very well for these heavy fragile machines. You would not want your valuable investment damaged during the shipping process.
