    Description

The Tin of Fire is a must-have for every outdoorsman, survivalist, for every-day carry packs, emergency roadside kits, or just when the need for fire is required.
We know that getting a fire started can be a matter of life or death.  The Tin of Fire all-weather fire starter wafers are perfect for all types of weather, especially in a cold, wet environment where a sure fire is necessary -- or just for lighting that stubborn fire in the fireplace.   These waterproof wafers contained within the tin are guaranteed to get a nice warm fire started for you, and keep you safe and warm in any type of situation.
With this item you will receive 6 wafers within the tin and 6 refill wafers.
The 2 oz tin containers are made of .24mm tin-plated steel with screw-top lids.
Each wafer is made of 100% cotton, infused with just the right amount of accelerant, then covered in layers of paraffin and filtered beeswax.
Wafers contain no type of fuel.
    Wafers are waterproof.
Wafers will not melt in hot temperatures.  Safe to store in car emergency kits, etc., without worry of them melting.
Each wafer can be lit easily with a ferro rod or flint striker on the first attempt -- even after exposed to water -- and will burn hot and clean for just over 10 minutes.
Burning all six wafers within the tin will give a good burn time of 1 hour and 15 minutes and will bring 16 oz. of cold water to a boil within 15 minutes at a temperature of 192 degrees at an elevation of 1,421 feet (the boiling point of water is 212 degrees at sea level, but boils at a lower temperature as you gain altitude).
The highest temperature of the flame during the burn time of all six wafers was 911 degrees.
There is no expiration date for these wafers because they contain no fuel to evaporate over time.
Perfect for starting a fire when all you have is wet tinder.
Just expose cotton fiber beneath wax and ignite!
Now being sold in survival shops, gun shops, outdoorsman shops, feed stores, and to the general public, successfully!
