Antique Jewett Wooden Ice Box with Lift Out Ice Container VictorianAn ornate fancy antique Jewett Wooden Ice Box. A rare configuration. Two swing out front doors. Lift top lid with very unusual lift out ice receptacle. Heavy carved front door panels with matching carved legs. All original fancy brass hinges and door catches. Original brass nameplate. It states Jewett Pat. 1896 Buffalo N.Y. The wood is ash and it has an old refinish. Original wood castors included. Removable steel shelves inside. No wood rot and everything is in good working order. Just Add Ice! 38 inches by 23 inches deep wall out by 39 inches tall. Please note all photos for they too are a part of our description.
